This week Brock Lesnar has announced his retirement, which has removed him from the UFC rankings and the USADA testing pool.

According to USADA, the last time Brock Lesnar had been tested for performance enhancing drugs was Q3 of 2016. In Q3 he was tested 2 times, which is significantly less than in Q2 when he was tested 6 times.

Could this be the true end for Brock Lesnar?

Some may speculate that Brock announced his retirement to be removed from the USADA testing pool, to possibly make a comeback at a later date. USADA tests fighters year-round, whether they have a scheduled bout or not.

Being that Lesnar is one of the biggest draws in UFC history, it seems unlikely that he is done. He had a decisive win over Mark Hunt, who is still considered a top contender. Lesnar looked great in that bout, which leads most to believe that he isn't finished with the sport.

He earned a disclosed $2.5 million dollar purse against Mark Hunt at UFC 200, not including any potential PPV revenue he had worked into his contract. For that kind of money, one would think that another Lesnar comeback is imminent.
