Wow...unbelievable night of great fights from these ladies...I sure hope fight fans tuned into #InvictaFC22 only on #UFCFightPass last night.

You got to love #FightFans in Kansas City Missouri. We are hardcore when it comes to any combat sports here. Especially, when it comes to Invicta FC events. Small but mighty every fight card. The opening Featherweight bout between Felicia Spencer vs Madison McElhaney was a good start...both ladies put on very good performances. Felicia Spencer wins by unanimous decision (30-27,30-27,29-28). Second bout of the night was Kal Holliday vs Springfield Missouri native Miranda Maverick. This fight kept us on our toes. Both fighters kept the pace going. Miranda Maverick def. Kal Holliday via armbar. Round 1 (3:01). Our 3rd fight of the night was Sunna Davidsdottir vs Mallory Martin in this Strawweight bout. Very even exchange of shots between the ladies. Davidsdottior had good 1st round. Martin looked took a big shot in 1st round but came back little stronger in 2nd round. Sunna Davidsdottir def. Mallory Martin by unanimous decision (30-27,29-28,29-28) Moving on to our 4th bout of the night with The Atomweights...Amber Brown vs St. Louis Missouri's Ashley Cummins...this fight was well orchestrated by them. These ladies went back and forth standing up and on the ground. The crowd loved this fight. Ashley Cummins def Amber Brown by unanimous decision (30-27,29-28,29-28). In addition, Cummins, in her post-fight interview had a very heartfelt tribute to one of her fallen officers that passed away last October. In our 5th bout of the night. DeAnna Bennett vs Jodie Esquibel went very good. The Stand Up Game between Bennett and Esquibel was very fluid. Esquibel landed more solid strikes every round. This fight could have went either way depending on how you judged it but Jodie Esquibel def DeAnna Bennett by split decision (28-29,29-28,29-28). Meanwhile, as we came closer to our mainevent of the night in our co-mainevent with Ayaka Hamasaki vs Livia Renata Souza. Hamasaki is current Atomweight champion but wants to make an even bigger name jumping up to Strawweight division to one day be a two division active champion for Invicta FC. Livia Renata Souza def. Ayaka Hamasaki by TKO (strikes) Round 1, 1:41. In our most anticipated rematch mainevent with Invicta FC Bantamweight Champion Tonya Evinger vs Yana Kunitskaya 2. In their first bout last November. Kunitskaya took the win via armbar due to a mistake by referee Mike England decision that was later overturned by Missouri Athletic Commission in December. Evinger retained her belt that set up this rematch we witnessed last night. Explosive 1st round from both ladies. They exchanged leg lock attempts and fighters kept the pace flowing both rounds. Evinger showed more of an advantage when they worked on the ground in 2nd round. Tonya Evinger def. Yana Kunitskaya by submission (rear naked choke) Round 2, 4:32 for Bantamweight title. These ladies lived up to hype of this championship bout. Both showed respect to each other after the fight. It is really great to see what Invicta FC Co-Founder/President Shannon Knapp has done for WMMA overall and just finished up their 22nd show. This Women's elite promotion puts on these amazing stacked cards. I am always ready for the next card every time I leave the arena. Thanks for all the support shown on our 8-bit MMA Facebook and Twitter pages. We will have our Invicta FC 22 photo gallery up fairly soon. We will switch gears again with #UFC210 from Buffalo in two weeks. Hope you enjoyed the fights and stay tuned for more updates and cool things coming your way.
