In April of 2012, Invicta FC had their first event debut in Kansas City Missouri. Shannon Knapp (@shanknapp),co-founder/President of this elite women's promotion is already 23 events in now and going strong. We have seen the best of the best come from Invicta FC to UFC. In addition, fans will get to see the professional debut of Shainna Rincon. Shainna earned her Bachelor of Arts degree last September from University of California. Shainna trains out of MMA Gold with Aspen Ladd,who recently earned a spot on UFC roster with her debut coming up in July against Jessica Eye. Here is 8-bit MMA 5 Reasons to Watch: Pam Sorensen is coming off of a Catch-weight win from Invicta FC 18. She is (5-1.) Pam fights at Featherweight and is looking to make a bold statement by racking up the wins to eventually get a title shot soon if possible. She takes on Endiane Gomes that night. It has been awhile since Gomes has fought but we shall see where Gomes is at skill wise come fight night. Tiffany "Time Bomb" Van Soest She continues to shine doing what she loves in Muay Thai and Kickboxing. Van Soest is the current Glory Kickboxing Inaugural Super Bantamweight Champion. Also, she holds a Lion Fights belt too. Her resume is very impressive as she tries to make a mark in WMMA. Her debut ended in a loss but knowing her, she will give it her all every fight to be the best of the best in this women's promotion. Time Bomb fights Christina Feriera this Saturday night. Feriera made a good debut win at #InvictaFC18. She is looking to keep up a winning streak alive and entertain the fans. Herica Tiburcio, former Invicta FC Atomweight Champion. Tiburcio defeated Michelle Waterson two years ago by submission win to become the champion at the time. As of today,she is fighting her way back to be a top contender to fight for the belt again soon. Tiburcio is a young fighter at just 24 years young. Plenty of time to keep growing and be a strong force in Atomweight division and eventually go to UFC when the time is right. She fought twice last year with one win,one loss. This Saturday she takes on Tessa Simpson. Simpson is (5-1.) Another fighter to not overlook by any means. Roxanne "The Happy Warrior" Modafferi. Roxy has been fighting for a long time in WMMA. First time we all fell in love with her was when she was on The Ultimate Fighter 20 Strawweight season. Roxy trains out of Syndicate MMA in Las Vegas area. In addition, Roxy has a book called: Memoirs of Roxanne Modafferi. It can be purchased on Amazon.com. Roxy takes on Sarah D'Alielo this Saturday night in co-mainevent. Make sure to give Roxy a loud chant to show her how much you care. It should be a good fight between the ladies that will keep you in good spirits. Andrea "KGB" Lee, a fan favorite and current #LFAChampion. She fights in Women's Flyweight Division. She is taking on Liz Taylor that night. Lee will be in her 3rd professional fight this year. One in January, defended her LFA belt in February,and is fighting on this card Saturday night. Lee can stand up and take it to the ground. Keep your eyes on Lee as she continues to dominate in Invicta FC and one day get a title shot with Invicta FC or UFC.
