If you were up in early morning/afternoon depending on your time zones to witness this card than you have a true passion for MMA/WMMA. The preliminaries started off with Lucie Pudilova vs Ji Yeon Kim. Good fight between the ladies to kick everything off. This was Kim's debut fight in UFC and she held her own against Pudilova who was coming off her debut loss over the past few months. Pudilova scored the decision win. Pudilova is 1-1 in UFC now while Kim is 0-1. Look for both fighters to make take some more ground when their next fights come around. All the other fights had their moments but I will focus on mainevent between Holm vs Correia on this card. In the mainevent, both fighters started off very timid respecting each other's games in rounds one and two. The referee instructed both fighters to engage in combat in middle of second round. They started to pick up the pace after he made those remarks. Holm's seemed to respectfully win the first two rounds. By third round, Holm seemed to find her place in there. Correia made her taunting known and in 5 seconds dropped her guard to get caught by Holm's signature head kick that finished off Ronda Rousey two year's ago at #UFC193. Holm's is back in the winners column. Holm's still needs two to three more fights to really be considered again as a top contender for the belt at 135 or 145. Those 3 losses in a row set her back a bit but Holm's is determined to get back on the throne soon. Here is the final results of the night: Holly Holm def. Bethe Correia via third-round KO (1:09) Marcin Tybura def. Andrei Arlovski via unanimous decision (29-28, 28-27, 29-27) Colby Covington def. Dong Hyun Kim via unanimous decision (30-25, 30-26, 30-27) Rafael dos Anjos def. Tarec Saffiedine via unanimous decision (30-27 x2, 29-28) Jon Tuck def. Takanori Gomi via submission (RNC) (R1, 1:12) Walt Harris def. Cyril Asker via first-round TKO (1:44) Alex Caceres def. Rolando Dy via second-round TKO (doctor’s stoppage) (5:00) Ulka Sasaki def. Justin Scoggins via submission (RNC) (R2, 3:19) Li Jingliang def. Frank Camacho via unanimous decision (29-27 x2, 28-27) Russell Doane def. Kwan Ho Kwak via first-round TKO (4:09) Naomi Inoue def.
