#UFCSingapore was a success. We head back to The USA to Oklahoma City,Oklahoma. Michael Chiesa vs Kevin Lee in the mainevent. Heated exchange of words happen between both fighters at UFC Summer Press Conference. Where all the fighters men and women were on stage promoting their fights while taken questions from media and fans. Lee mentioned Chiesa's Mom in the trash talking feud that escalated the whole incident when punches were thrown and they had to be separated on-stage. This Sunday they will meet to settle the score. Also, the return of Carla Esparza,former Invicta FC Strawweight Champion, #TUF20 Winner, and inaugural #UFC Strawweight Champion will be fighting on this card after losing her belt to Joanna Jedrzejczyk awhile back. In addition, we have "The Prodigy" and active #UFC Hall of Famer BJ Penn vs Dennis Siver. Penn's legacy speaks for itself. Fan favorite amongst hardcore fans that have followed him his whole career. The new generation has only seen him in losing column but he will always be best of the best champions to ever step inside of The Octagon and always gives back to his community. My 8-bit Fighter of The Week is Felice "Lil Bulldog" Herrig. She was born in Buffalo Grove,Illinois. Fights out of Team Curran. Some fight fans still maybe new to her in UFC from her last two wins but I remember the days when she was fighting for Invicta FC, the elite women's promotion in short stints before she was called up by UFC for #TUF20 season. Most people outside of MMA recognize her for all her social media selfies posts and modeling career early into her fighting career. It took a toll on Herrig balancing two careers and she seemed to lose focus on what was really important in her life after her loss to Van Zant. Herrig took some time off to reflect and get her life straightened out. It worked to her benefit as a fighter. The new Felice Herrig came back stronger than ever by winning two fights, one against Kailan Curran and her most recent win came against another Invicta fighter, Alexa Grasso. Herrig still needs to get herself into position for a title shot with a few more wins but with her new focus, she seems to be on the right path to earn it. This Saturday Herrig takes on undefeated Muay Thai Fighter Justine Kish. It should be a great battle between these two ladies and a fun fight. Cheer these ladies on Saturday in support of WMMA.
