Where do I begin...What.Crazy.Night in New York City New York. Madison Square Garden was electric last night with the craziness all around the arena. Luckily, we had best men in the business to call the fights with Mauro Ranallo, Jimmy Smith and Mike Goldberg for #Bellator180 last night. All three men had great chemistry. In addition, Josh Thomson,Brendan Schaub, and Jenn Brown worked in the booth at the arena to give us more insight and predictions to open up the night. Goldie and Jimmy Smith kicked the card off from the early preliminaries up until the mainevent on the Spike TV card. Goldie did his signature play by play that complimented Jimmy Smith the whole night. Mauro and Jimmy's chemistry was cool as they took care of the ppv card with their play by play and commentary too. There is a lot of promise in adding Goldie and Ranallo into the mix with Smith. All of the fights had their little twist and turns like Mitrione TKO'ing The Last Emperor #Fedor to Chandler losing his belt to Primus for a TKO win due to Chandler's ankle injury that forced the bout to be stopped. I will like to focus back on 8-bit Fighter of The Week Heather "The Heat" Hardy. This was amazing fight that I stated on the previous one. Heather's walkout song was "Girl on Fire" by the famous Grammy Award winner and New Yorker Alicia Keys set the tone. Hardy started off keeping the pace strong against Alice Yauger. Both ladies stood their ground the whole time landing solid shots. Hardy's superior boxing skills definitely played a major factor in this fight. Hardy won the first and second rounds. Both ladies accidentally head butted each other later in second round. Hardy was checked over by John McCarthy and the doctor but they gave Hardy the okay to continue the fight. That head butt left a deep cut on left side by her left eye. It only seemed to ignite Hardy even more to get back in there and finish this fight. The ladies gave it their all but Hardy won by TKO strikes in the third round. There always room for improvement with any fighter debuting in WMMA/MMA but Hardy will be on the right path to make her name known in MMA World with that win and has a lot of potential to be a champion one day. Here is the final results on the rest of the #BellatorMMA New York cards: Chael Sonnen def. Wanderlei Silva via unanimous decision (30-26, 30-27, 30-27) Neiman Gracie def. Bellator's next card will be back to it's original ways next month. This will be in Thackerville,Oklahoma on July 14th on Spike TV.
