#InvictaFC24 Preview

#FightWeek Two mainevent changes happen while UFC was scrambling trying to find Cris Cyborg an opponent for the end of this month to fight for the vacant UFC Women's Featherweight belt. Initially Cyborg was set to fight former Invicta FC's Featherweight champion Megan Anderson. The fight was cancelled due to personal reasons with Anderson. So after a long overdue process, UFC finally called up former Invicta FC Bantamweight Champion Tonya Evinger, who is next in line to take on Cris Cyborg. Cyborg vs Evinger will happen on July 29th on #UFC214 card along with 2 other title fights. Both fighters were looking for a fight and this should be a another big push for #WMMA on the best card of the year so far. Which brings us to a new Invicta FC headliner with Dudieva vs Borella on #July15 here in #KansasCity. Also, Pam Sorensen will fight Helena Kolesnyk and Missouri native Miranda Maverick steps up on a short notice vs Gabby Romero. My 8-bit MMA Fighter of The Week is Ashley "Smashley" Cummins. Cummins was born in Saint Louis Missouri area. Fights out of Wolves Den MMA. Cummins has been fighting actively since 2012. Cummins fought back at inaugural #InvictaFC1 event back on April 28, 2012. Cummins won against Sofie Bagherdai that night to continue her win streak from two previous promotions where she started her career. Cummins went on a slight losing streak at #InvictaFC3 vs Calderwood, #InvictaFC6 vs Emily Kagan,and #InvictaFC8 vs Alexo Grasso. In the meantime, Cummins resumed her other passion in life as a #FirstResponder in her city. In addition, Cummins takes a lot of pride in being a #AnimalRescuer along with being an full-time officer of the law. Cummins came back to fighting at #Bellator176 Dynamite 2 fight  card last year in June, it took place at Scott Trade Center in St. Louis Missouri and defeated Nicole Smith. Cummins most recent victory happen last March at #InvictaFC22 by defeating Amber "The Bully" Brown. Both ladies displayed toughness and a ton of heart battling it out. Cummins won by unanimous decision that night. Cummins even made a heartfelt speech in her post-fight interview honoring her fellow brother who died in the line of fire last October. Cummins is determined to be the best of the best when it comes to #WMMA as an #InvictaFC Atomweight Champion one day.
