My Fighter Focus is on Emily "Gordinha" Ducote for this week's Bellator MMA event. She was born in Oklahoma City,Oklahoma. She fights out of American Top Team OKC. Ducote is a well-rounded fighter that can attack you standing up but superior on the ground. Ducote made her first Bellator MMA debut back on July 22nd, 2016 at #Bellator159 from Mulvane,Kansas vs Bruna Vargas. Ducote submitted her by Rear Naked Choke in Round 2 in :22 seconds. A majority of her wins so far have been by submissions and decisions. Her only two notable losses came against Emily Whitemire on September 19th 2015 for her very first WMMA debut fight with FCF Freestyle Cage. Her last loss came from Ilima-Lei Macfarlane on December 3rd 2016. Ducote most recent victory came when she defeated Katy Collins at #Bellator174 via Rear Naked Choke in Round 1 (4:53). This Friday night she takes on Middleton in a three round fight. Ducote was suppose to take on Valerina Latourneau but she suffered an injury during her fight camp. Middleton stepped up to the challenge. Middleton is another Midwest fighter from the Kansas area that brings it to you every fight.
