This Mayweather vs McGregor World Tour has been fun to say the least. Both trash talkers going at their best to sell this fight but the fight has already been sold soon as the fight deal was signed,sealed,and delivered. I would definitely give Round 1 to Mayweather with his antics and McGregor seemed a little unprepared that time. McGregor fired back in Round 2 of their pressers with a clever speech and his comebacks were very funny. In the meantime, Round 3 will be today in Brooklyn. It will be very interesting one to see what Mayweather comes up with next as McGregor digs a little deeper to really get under Mayweather skin with insults to add. McGregor shines best by getting under fighter's skin way before they fight just to embarrass them and come out on top every time. It is exciting for the fans with this star studded event. I take nothing away from either fighter trying to sell this fight. I just want the fans and fighters to enjoy these moments without crossing any lines. McGregor made his remarks by stating twice at the two pressers,"Dance for me boy!" every time Mayweather danced out to his music. McGregor might have not thought anything of it but it was caught in my observation. Bad remarks like that does not sit well with African American community which I find displeasing from McGregor but Mayweather did not play along which I salute him on that aspect. Sure the racial issue is nothing new to me or the sport of boxing. It goes all the way back to Jack Johnson days of boxing, he was the first African-American Heavyweight Champion, who dealed with a lot of racism and hate when segregation was really bad back in the day. I am not saying all this to stir up anymore than it needs to be. I am just stating the obvious. We can still enjoy the spectacle without all the unnecessary racial divide if there is any on this matter. I am okay with fans picking sides to make it fun but we should not take this fight too personal when it is only for entertaining us fans.
