What an AMAZING NIGHT at Invicta FC 24. Invicta FC President Shannon Knapp and Invicta FC Matchmaker Kaitlin Young turned all the worries in the world around to something very positive by delivering once again a great 7 fight card night to give fight fans the best show they have ever seen under the recent circumstances. I salute Shannon Knapp for not cancelling the card and pushing forward to give these ladies their chance to shine in the spotlight showcasing their skills inside the cage. I want to focus on The "Fight of The Night" that had the fans and media talking about the fight between Saint Louis's #FirstResponder Fire-Fighter Kelly D'Angelo vs Sunna Daidsdottir was the most exciting fight of the night. Both ladies gave it their all in 3 Round battle. They took it against the cage,on the mat, and stand up. Round 1 started it off with heated exchanges. D'Angelo kept coming back with counterattacks. They ended the Round 1 showing good respect when the round ended. In Round 2, Davidsottir took D'Angelo for a takedowns but D'Angelo always tried to find a way out of it in Rubberguard and her defense. D'Angelo's defense was stellar when Davidsottir used her leverage on her this round. In the final round, they continued to battle it out until the final bell. Davidsottir won by unanimous decision but D'Angelo definitely gained more respect from the fans with her debut last night. Davidsottir's continued her winning streak with this win. Here are the final results of Invicta FC 24 card: Mara Romero Borella def. Milana Dudieva by split decision (30-27, 28-29, 29-28) Jinh Yu Frey def. Ashley Cummins by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) Pam Sorenson def. Helena Kolesnyk by submission (armbar). Round 1, 3:12 Karina Rodríguez def. Bárbara Acioly by TKO (strikes). Round 1, 2:14 Miranda Maverick def. Gabby Romero by unanimous decision (30-26, 29-28, 30-27) Sunna Rannveig Davíðsdóttir def. Kelly D’Angelo by unanimous decision (30-26, 30-27, 30-27) Felicia Spencer def. Amy Coleman by submission (rear-naked choke). Round 1, 3:17 A special thanks to our first giveaway winner Mike Thomas and his family for attending the event. Also, thanks for all you that stayed with us all #FightWeek.
