We go from #UFCGlasgow last Sunday to #UFConFox from Long Island New York this Saturday live on your local Fox channel. In the mainevent, Chris Weidman vs Kelvin Gastelum headlining this card. Also, Weidman's teammate Gian Villante, will appear on this card too.  

My 8-bit MMA Fighter of The Week focuses on Chris Weidman. He was born in Baldwin City New York. Weidman fights out of Serra-Longo Fight Team. Weidman reigned supreme from 2009-2015 undefeated. Weidman defeated The GOAT Anderson "The Spider" Silva twice within the same year. First time by knockout than defeated Silva again when he checked Silva's low leg kick which resulted in a leg injury that ended the fight by TKO. Weidman continued on his fight streak by defending his belt against Lyoto Machida and went on to beat Vitor Belfort too. Weidman in his next three fights took a downward spiral by losing his belt to Luke Rockhold. Weidman tried to bounce back with a win on his next fight but lost to Yoel Romero. Weidman tried to regain himself by fighting Gegard Mousasi this past April but Mousasi won by TKO (strikes) in 2nd Round. This Saturday on Fox, Weidman looks to get back in the winning column by defeating rising star and TUF 17 Winner, Kelvin Gastelum. Gastelum is looking to get back into it after being temporarily suspended by USADA for violating the drug policy for marijuana in his system weeks before he was suppose to fight Anderson Silva at #UFC212 in Brazil.
