Interesting night of fights in Pittsburgh while the biggest boxing match of our time between #CaneloGGG happen too. That boxing match ended up in a draw so they will probably have to run it back sometime soon to settle the score. We might have a trilogy when it is all said and done. Meanwhile in The MMA World, Rockhold took the victory by submission against Branch last night in Pittsburgh. In the co-mainevent, Mike Perry put on a great performance in Round 1 to make a big impression that he is not going anywhere and is determined to keep climbing to the top to be a top contender in his division for more opportunities. A Comeback Award nominee would have to go to Uriah Hall last night. He started off sluggish at first taking unnecessary strikes but by Round 2, it was like a wake up call that had Hall landing bigger shots that eventually took Jotko down for the win. Here are the results from UFC Pittsburgh: Luke Rockhold def. David Branch via submission (strikes) (R2, 4:05) Mike Perry def. Alex Reyes via first-round KO (1:19) Anthony Smith def. Hector Lombard by third-round TKO (2:33) Gregor Gillespie def. Jason Gonzalez via submission (arm triangle) (R2, 2:11) Kamaru Usman def. Sergio Moraes via first-round KO (2:48) Justin Ledet def. Zu Anyanwu via split decision (28-29, 29-28 x2) Olivier Aubin-Mercier def. Tony Martin via split decision (28-29, 29-28 x2) Daniel Spitz def. Anthony Hamilton via first-round TKO (0:24) Uriah Hall def. Krzysztof Jotko via second-round KO (2:25) We hope you all enjoyed the fun weekend of combat sports that took place over the weekend. More to come next week when it is #UFCJapan on FXX until further notice. Saint-Preux vs Okami will headline the mainevent. Thanks to all the fans sticking with us as we bring you the best coverage possible every week. We truly appreciate it! Photo Credit: MMA Junkie
