LFA 23 Preview: Andrea “KGB” Lee

#LFA23 #September22 Andrea #KGB Lee Our #8bitMMA Fighter of The Week is #LFAWorldChampion Andrea "KGB" Lee. She was born in Atlanta,Texas. Lee fights out of Karate Mafia in Shreveport, Louisiana. Lee reigns supreme when it comes to mixed martial arts. Lee is so like able to other fighters and fans. She loves to train with anyone willing to and invite the coolest to come train with her at her MMA gym. Lee is on a 3-fight combined win streak with LFA and Invicta FC this year as she heads into this Friday night looking for that 4th victory. Lee's last opponent was a test for her wrestling wise when she fought Liz Tracy at #InvictaFC23 from #KansasCity this past May. Lee who is a purple belt in #BJJ and overall solid striker, trained very hard on her wrestling skills for this fight. It was a tough battle between the ladies as they went every round but Lee won by a decision. We later found out in Lee's Invicta FC 23 post-fight interview, that she was suffering through a back injury while preparing for the fight. During the following week, Lee reached out to her doctors and had good treatment on it to keep her on schedule for this title fight. Lee’s last title fight fell through because her opponent had Visa issues. Lee fights this Friday night against American Soldier Jamie Thornton only on #AXSTV. In the meantime, this title fight could potentially put Andrea into #UFC. #UFC has now opened up a Women's Flyweight division under the new Ultimate Fighter 26 season that started 4 weeks ago.
