#UFC216 Fighter Focus: Pearl Gonzalez Pearl Gonzalez was born in Cicero,Illinois. She trains at 10 Planet Jiu-Jitsu San Diego. She had first graced us earlier this year at #UFC210 when she fought the rising star Cynthia Cavillo in her #UFC debut. Even though it was not one of her best performances, Gonzalez still showed up to prove to everyone that she is here to stay and will work her way up in the top ranks for an opportunity one day. She lost by Rear Naked Choke that night. Gonzalez current record stands at (6-2). Gonzalez is looking to regain her ground with a win this Saturday night to get back to a good spot and more opportunities moving forward in her MMA career. Gonzalez is fighting Poliana Botelho (5-1), who is making her UFC debut. These ladies need the fans support more than ever as we are finally seeing them in more bouts this year.
