We at #8bitMMA send our condolences to all the lives lost and victims families over the tragedy that occurred last Sunday at country music festival by Mandalay Bay hotel. We are with you all in spirit and offer our support. Even with the tragic event that happen recently in Las Vegas, #UFC gave back to the fans and had 6 of the Vegas survivors there in attendance. Everyone of them was invited into The Octagon last night. In addition, Everlast,popular music recording artist,sung “America The Beautiful” instead of “The Star Spangled Banner.” Everlast mentioned backstage, that he did in respect to lyrics used in each song that his choice to sing “American The Beautiful” was more fitting based off the recent tragedy. Meanwhile,the biggest news of the night was Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson, when broke the record for defending his title against Ray Borg. The record stands at 11 title defenses. Surpassing Anderson Silva,who was once The Greatest of All Time for a awhile until last night. Also, Tony Ferguson, wins The UFC Lightweight Interm belt by defeating Kevin Lee.
