Our #8bitMMA Fighter of The Week is #UFC Featherweight World Champion Max “Blessed” Holloway. He was born in Waianae Hawaii. He fights out of Gracie Technics/Hawaii Elite MMA. Holloway current record stands at (18-3.) Holloway only notable loses go back to 2013 when he fought current UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor and Dennis Bermudez. Also, Dustin Poirier back in 2012. Ever since his last lost...Holloway’s been a exciting win streak that lead him to a monumental win over The Great Jose Aldo. Aldo was the reigning champion in this division for awhile. Unfortunately Aldo’s lost to McGregor somewhat tarnished his career in a form of fashion. Do not let that loss fool you. Jose Aldo has accomplished a lot in UFC as a champion. Originally Holloway was suppose to defend his belt Frankie Edgar. Edgar suffered a face injury that forced him out few weeks ago. Many fans voiced their opinions over social media on who should replace Edgar. Speculation went around for Cub Swanson but Aldo was waiting in the wings. Meanwhile, UFC Executives felt it was best to run it back and have a rematch between Holloway and Aldo 2. So here we go once again as these two dynamic warriors collide to bring us one of the best mainevents of the year. Brace yourself for an intense battle. This is how #UFC 218 fight card stacks up: Max Holloway vs Jose Aldo Alistar Overeem vs Francis Ngannou Henry Cejudo vs Sergio Pettis Eddie Alvarez vs Justin Gaethje Tecia Torres vs Michelle Waterson Charles Oliveira vs Paul Felder Alex Oliveira vs Yancy Medeiros David Teymur vs Drakkar Klose Felice Herrig vs Cortney Casey Sabah Homasi vs Abdul Razak Alhassan Jeremy Kimball vs Dominick Reyes Justin Willis vs Allen Crowder Amanda Cooper vs Angela Magana *Card subject to change* Photo Credit: Max Holloway/Fox Sports
